2010 Season of Giving Challenge - Las Vegas Photographer TiffanyG

Last year, I was one of the very first photographers in the world (and the first in Las Vegas) to accept the “Season of Giving” Challenge that Kristen Kulp (from Philadelphia) made to all professional photographers in the world.? Well within just a few short days, over 450 photographers had offered to donate over $500,000 worth of product and services!

Giving Is Awesome is back for 2010 and I am very excited to be a part of it! This year, I am accepting nominations until December 20th and will announce my winner on December 24th. Here's all the details:

The Season of Giving Challenge

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this Holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty. And by family, I mean a “traditional” family, or a single-parent family, grandparent(s) raising their grandkids, pretty much any reasonable definition of “family”. In other words, you don't have to be married with 2.5 kids to be eligible!

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $1000 worth, to be exact. It’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season. The “winners” will receive a free 1.5 hour portrait session (anywhere in the Vegas Valley), a custom DVD with a photo/music slideshow, a copy of ALL the photos on CD with full printing rights, AND a $200 print credit for free prints or other photo products!

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a FREE $195 photo package including sitting fee and 2 8×10 prints! What better reason to show some love could there possibly be?

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. I'm not checking tax forms here, but ask you to be honest in your nominations. Yes, you may nominate more than one family, but please don't nominate more than 2 or 3.

* The nominee must reside in the Las Vegas Valley. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve to be treated to a professional photo session and free prints. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

* I realize there are people reading my blog from all over the world - if you aren't in Las Vegas please visit “Season of Giving” Challenge to search for a photographer near you. And PLEASE, let them know you heard about it from me!

* Myself and all of the other photographers involved in this are doing it out of the kindness of our hearts. We will be making the final decisions on the “winners” and ask that you please respect our decisions.

* You must e-mail me the full story - a paragraph or two at minimum would be great. By submitting, you give me permission to publish the winning submission letter but I will NOT publish ANY names or photos (I will ask permission to post the photos but will respect the winner's wishes)! Please make sure you provide full contact information as well.

* Email nominations to: tiffany@tiffanygphoto.com

The winner will be announced on this Blog on Christmas Eve…get nominating! I can’t wait to read all of your entries!

Open your heart to someone this holiday season – and thanks for giving me the opportunity to open mine.

With love,

TiffanyG
